IKS Interns

Thorough knowledge in image processing and necessary design software tools.
Innovative thinking and work in waterfall model of IKS MinT products.
Experience in working with UI/UX PLC, graphic designing and video editing
Managing the design team in bring out the requirement on each sprint with proper inter team communication.
Knowledge in IEEE branding guidelines is mandatory.
Should be a working professional but not necessary in having a design related graduation.
Able to 'voluntarily' contribute about 5 hours a week.

Improve the look and feel of IKS MinT and other IEEE Kerala Section Products & websites.
Facilitation of user journey mapping sessions to analyze customer pain points and opportunities.
Create surveys and prepare case studies for research to gather feedback in understanding seamless application experience for users.
Collaboration with the development team on a project currently being prepared to start development.
Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate.

Experience with the user centered design process and basic knowledge in image processing is a plus.
Theoretical knowledge of qualitative user research methods, e.g. as-is and to-be user journey mapping, moderated usability testing, etc.
Working with defining personas, setting user research goals/questions and to decide on appropriate methods.
Experience working with collaborative tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Miro, etc.

Designing graphic materials like posters, brochures for IEEE Kerala Section events.
In charge or design lead of IKS INKED Magazine
Create posters for important days based on requirements from the content team
Design graphic materials upon request from IKS MinT.
Create predefined poster templates for IKS events.
Coordinate with the team and help with timely release of posters.

Experience with the user centered design process and basic knowledge in image processing is preferred.
Experience in working with Adobe Suites.
Good grasp of IEEE branding guidelines.
Basic understanding and practical experience with vision or image processing libraries is a plus.
Programming knowledge in Python and respective IP libraries but not mandatory.
